While thet place isn't huge, the booths and seating were cozy and private, and generally enjoyable. It kept the noise down and was great for just me and my wife. Service was good (multiple staff checked in to ensure I was taken care of). They did miss the coleslaw add-on (southern style) on top of my sandwich though -1 star. Honest mistake. Will return next year during trip to Maryland.”

“Your standard Japanese steakhouse when it comes to the food. We didn't get the hibachi show and just opted for a table, which is nice to have that option. The prices are like any Japanese steakhouse, unfortunately, and you pay the full price even if you don't get the show (which I assume is factored into the hibachi price). What I loved most was the atmosphere and the staff. It was a very comfortable vibe and our waiter checked on us regularly.”

“I've only been here twice but will definitely be coming back. The first time I had the honey barbecue wings and an order of the beer batter fried onion rings. The wings were huge and the sauce was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. The onion rings were crisp and very flavorful. The next time I went, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, medium rare, with french fries. Both the burger and the fries were the best I have had in a long time. The burger was perfectly cooked, and was a thick patty. The meat is local, bought from a butcher shop, I think in Mt. Airy. There was no aftertaste, only a pure taste of hamburger meat. The bacon was perfect - so many times bacon on a cheeseburger will either be limp and greasy or burnt. The bacon was perfectly crisp without being overdone. The fries were obviously fresh cut and were also perfect, not too greasy, and not cooked to the point of being burnt. Both times when I went (first at dinner, first at lunch), there was either no one or very few other customers there, which is a shame. The food is great and the prices very reasonable. I just hope that business picks up for them.”

There's a lengthy bar where you can eat and drink. The place is very trendy, and seems popular with a younger crowd as well. Can be tough to park; they have parking behind but it's very limited, otherwise you have to park on the street. There's also a park directly next to the parking lot, which makes this a great place to take kids.”

“Free pool and great fries, but more often than not, their service has left a bad taste in my mouth. They once turned me and my brother away because he was wearing a sleeveless shirt; and every time we've been, we've had to wait more than 5 minutes for someone to at least acknowledge our existence so we could get a pool balls and a table. However, they are attentive enough once they do start serving you. I'll come back and will definitely edit this review if my experience changes 12/23 Updating to say that Julie is a total sweetheart and I'm changing the review from 2 to 4”
