“Well, if you never visited a Decoy Museum I would suggest visiting this one. Me and my Mom spent a night in Havre De Grace to visit the city and learn of its history and hunting is a huge part of it. So the museum isn't just about decoys but also tells a lot of the story of the local area. And the decoys on display are art. So it is a art museum and a history museum.”

“We find the staff friendly, the exhibits interesting and, at least when we visited it, they had a exhibit on Captain John Smith. When scouting out the rivers Havre De Grace happened to be the most northern point of his exploration. A LOT of history in such a small town!”

“This is a gem hidden along a winding country road in rural Harford County. Fantastic reference from a time not so long ago. Our visit was a stark reminder of how steep the hill was just to reach "equal".”

“Only accessible by kayak or canoe due to very shallow water. Old, abandoned lighthouse that was once part of the caretakers house.”

“Lovely and informative museum that beautifully illustrates the history of the Booth family. Vivid panels tell the story. The house is well-maintained and tidy. Our tour guide, a former teacher, passionately recounted the tragic story of this complicated American family. Will certainly return.”
Address: Ma & Pa Heritage Trail, Bel Air, MD 21014, USA
“This running, biking, dog and people walking trail is in Bel Air along the Maryland and Pennsylvania train route; it can be quite busy during the summer months. It is very scenic and quiet. The trail itself has many inclines, making it challenging but not difficult. There are turn off trails that lead to Harford Mall and Johns Hopkins summer home. Also, if you cross the street, once you go through the green arches, the trail continues and you'll end up at Annie's Playground. Parking is free and all pets are leashed.”

“Stumbled across this place while exploring, and it just happened to be their Halloween celebration! It was amazing. The staff was friendly, tons of activities, and the grounds were spectacular. Highly recommended for a quick jaunt.”
