Almost every visit, my father talks about how thankful he is to be living there. He enjoys his meals in the dining room, attending music performances (he likes to sing along), and bingo! He adjusted quickly to living at Encore and we have peace of mind knowing that he is well cared for and safe. One of his biggest challenges was remembering to take his daily medicines, which is now handled by the Encore staff. It is a good feeling to know that Encore will be able to assist him as his needs grow.”

“My visit to the spa was out of a deep need to reconnect to my body and get a much needed break from the runaround. So I planned for the “mini-spa” day; that’s two services with a lunch. The professionals that worked with me, Melanie and Teresa were stellar. They each were gentle and super easy to talk with, allowing me to explain what I needed. I have several allergies and my body has sensitivity due to recent surgery. Both were so reassuring, they handled my concerns easily. Melanie’s body scrub was amazing and Teresa’s perfect pressure on my massage was heavenly. I will definitely sing their praises to anyone that wants to listen. The only thing I would have changed would have been to have lunch after instead of in between. Not separating the services would have allowed the relaxing flow I was feeling to stay much longer. All in all, experiencing The Spa at Turf Valley is a fantastic way to spend the day.”

“Excellent experience here! Our server was nice and had a good knowledge of the menu, which we appreciated as first-time visitors. We tried the Eggplant Parmesan, Guacamole dip appetizer, Calamari and Crispy Fish and Chips for our entree. And for dessert, a very delicious Crispy Apple Tarte with a scope of ice cream. They nailed the portion sizes, so we had enough room for all, but there were so many other enticing things on the menu. We'll be back!”
