My wife and I ate here for the first time. She had the French toast, and enjoyed every bite. I had the Bacon, Lettuce, Shrimp sandwich, and was also very happy with it. What was better than the food was the service. The entire staff, including the chef, was very warm and welcoming.
We will definitely be returning, for a meal or just to relax with a cup of coffee.
Big Little Cheese is a beautiful breakfast nook speckled in sunshine and deliciousness. I was charmed immediately on entrance but I was blown away by the gorgeous back patio where I was serenaded by a babbling creek.
The food was on par with its beautiful location: the Breakfast Bowl doesn't fail to satisfy with a hearty and well balanced helping of sausage, bacon and eggs. Many of the ingredients are provided by local entrepreneur and close collaborator, Bella Vita Farm.
My server Sydney was courteous, warm and accommodating frequently checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable and satiated. Christina the owner was kind enough to visit my table and converse with me for a few minutes.
This is just the kind of establishment that I am proud to support: Excellent in all aspects, locally sourced ingredients and a proud woman owner who empowers other women.
I cannot recommend this location enough for your next breakfast venture.
Ordered the breakfast bowl and a drip coffee. Finished it off with a warm blueberry muffin. Hands down the best meal I've had in a while. Simple and fresh ingredients done with care and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and the view from the upstairs outdoor seating area was gorgeous. Highly recommend! My one and only point of feedback would be that they could benefit from a wider selection of pastries to pair with their excellent coffee. But that doesn't stop this from being a five-star experience!
This place is just getting started after months of waiting out the pandemic and renovations and upgrades. What a cool space with exposed brick, hardwood floors and big natural light windows. Great inside and outside seating options. Each time I visit something new is evolving. Now there are gluten free options for those of us who cannot have gluten. The chicken salad and the chili—yum. As this place gets it’s true legs underneath it I see the possibilities of so much more to come and a perfect spot for coffee and beyond. Stay tuned this place is going to bloom into its greatness.
I was excited to see this coffee/barbershop finally open after months of renovations and turnover to a new, friendly husband and wife team. This place was very welcoming, from the warm and cozy atmosphere to the friendly staff. Just walk up to the second floor coffee bar and get yourself a tasty breakfast sandwich and coffee/latte (local sourced from Annapolis based Ceremony coffee). I ordered a decaf iced Latte and sausage egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. It was great to hear the eggs they use are from a local farm. Their ingredients are fresh and tasty. You can clearly see and taste the love they put into crafting each item they make (even when taking the food to-go). The sandwich I got was perfectly made and tasted fresh. The iced latte had a well balanced milk to espresso ratio.
The prices were comparable to other shops in the area. I can't wait to stop here again to try the other foods and drinks they have on their menu. The chicken and waffles dish looks good along with the variety of hot dog and sandwich options they have for lunch. Maybe next time I will come sit on their back porch or first floor patio along the creek. The decor is wonderful with floral centerpieces on the tables and great music playing around the room.
