“Staying here was peaceful and I enjoyed learning the history of the area. The duty ranger wasn't very helpful when I asked if could extend few hour because of work. But other than that staying here was a pretty good bargain. Oh and if you stay in the fall watch out for the falling acorns. They dented up the tonneau cover on my pickup.”

“We enjoyed our overnight getaway at Wayside Inn. The place was cheerful, cozy and intimate, beautifully decorated for the holidays. we especially liked the gas fireplace and the big jacuzzi tub, such nice luxuries. The breakfast was extravagant and delicious! And sitting at a dining room table with other inn guests for breakfast was an unexpected pleasure for all. The staff at the inn was very attentive and helpful, and we loved the personal touch of bringing a few strangers together to make each others' acquaintance. Overall, the place had every amenity to be hoped for: charm and beauty, gracious staff, delicious food, and comfortable quarters.”

“Very nice B&B! Has fantastic decor and am excessive amount of staircases which I found endearing. As an avid tea drinker I loved all the cups and tea pots on display at check in. The rooms were nicely done and the access to outside from the room was convenient. Breakfast options were tasty and the wine social snacks at night were a nice touch. Would love to stay here again”

“I really enjoyed my visit at the White Elk Motel, I'm my opinion of of the say 3 to 4 motel/hotels that available for overnight or hourly it is the best one. The rooms decent size always clean all have a shower and table, also you're able to get ice in other room service options. Staff is always very courteous.”

“I haven't stayed in a Red Roof Inn in quite some time and I was very pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean and efficient and all was in great working order. The font desk staff was cordial and quick. I really enjoyed the lamps directly above the beds. Each room had a super impressive bag of complimentary candies, snacks and bottled water. This property is in a good location with plenty of restaurants and such in walking distance. Heating and a/c were perfect for the size of the room. Bathroom had plenty of water pressure and steaming hot water. Fresh complimentary coffee available at the front counter. Always great to have an in-room microwave and refrigerator as well. We got the pleasant and peaceful rest we needed to make to the next gig. Thanks for the great stay.”
