“Super kind, friendly staff. I chose to change to this Vet after questioning several other pet parents . I drive past old Vet to travel an extra 30 minutes to Galena. She volunteers around the county, with her staff at rabies clinics held for low cost shots. She prices medicine below what you can find on line, same for special diet foods. We love the line of dog and cat collars with matching leashes.”

“A hidden gem in the small town of Galena MD. This is where you don’t mind waiting for your food because you it will be all worth the wait. I was expecting the food here to follow in the old tex mex tradition but was pleased to find the menus trending in a traditional Authentic contemporary direction with emphasis on lean, fresh and organic fare. My favorite dish here is the tacos, your favorite meats topped with cilantro and onions wrapped in hand made from scratch corn tortilla served with choice of fresh green avocado & red spicy salsa. They love what they do and they do it with a passion, the owner is super sweet and makes your experience a pleasant one. The chef/owner and his staff (family) are staunch advocates of the farm-to-table concept, sourcing produce, meats, poultry and dairy products almost exclusively from Maryland organic farms, all food is prepared fresh and is very reasonable they also have catering services for your special events. Don’t wait and go stop by you won’t regret it I promise.”

“If there's something particular your looking for just ask they'll order it for you, by the bottle or by the case. --I see people saying small selection and high prices. Well if you think logically about it they are a small store and they try to carry as much variety as they can but they also gave to be careful because if they order every flavor of everything out there, then there will always be something that is not going to sell. --As for the high prices again they are a small liquor store there is no need to order cases of everything the while case will never sell. So they need to only order a lot of things by the bottle. So when you order only a few bottles then is costs more per bottle because the wholesaler has to break a case to give the store a few bottles. Therefore the extra cost that the wholesaler charges is then added onto the bottle price for the shelf. --Remember you are paying for convenience. But hey if you can get it cheaper somewhere else go ahead and spend the extra money in gas to go there. But don't complain when the next time you need to make a quick run to grab what you need from this liquor store and your item is not there. If your not going to purchase it they can fill that space with another item that will sell. --I hope you understand the role of a small town liquor store now. Happy drinking!!!”
