“I called 3rd district for help in recovering my vehicle from a MileOne dealership on 12/31/18. OFC Mike Skidmore arrived promptly, listened to our situation and asked excellent questions to assess the situation. He escorted me and my husband into the dealership as we began the process of retrieving the car and as the service manager fidgeted to find my vehicle, OFC Skidmore advised us of our rights and next steps if the dealership was unable to produce the car. Officer remained on the scene as we inspected the car and signed paperwork releasing the vehicle. At all times Officer Skidmore was respectful, professional, and impartial. I cannot imagine the flack I would have received from the dealership had Police been absent. Thank you 3rd District & OFC Skidmore for your expertise and consummate professionalism in helping us retrieve our vehicle!!!”

“My past three years of middle school have been amazing. Yeah, people can go on and on about how the school is lacking this and that, but there's a fair amount of good things about WOMS. The school is organized and clean for the most part. Teachers interact with their students when teaching and most are fair. Some have favorites. English keeps students busy all year, thanks to Ms. Malik (not) but you'll enjoy her. My favorite classes were chorus and science. Science was easy, the teacher was alright. Chorus is fun and taught by a kind-hearted woman named Mrs. West. I really enjoyed gym, although I got lazy towards the end. I had Clifford all year. He's the king of dry jokes. I joined cross country during the fall, and it was one of my favorite parts of middle school. Cross country practice was killer, and there was a variety. Everyone got along. Our school is great at cross country, soccer, and good at basketball. The rest are eh. If you make it to the end of 8th grade then you're going to find that your school trips were pretty great, and the cruise is pretty fun, also. Our school has a great spiritual energy. The good part is that you start figuring out who you are. The bad side? The norm. Rumors, gossip. Some people are really stupid and can't understand common sense, it makes your brain hurt to try to comprehend why they don't understand the simplest things. Oops. Overall, whether you're a quiet brainiac or a sweet socializer, you're going to enjoy it here. (:”

“My family LOVES Julia Bowen School. Our two year old son Lorenzo is so happy there! The teachers are a good balance of loving but still disciplining if needed. Enzo comes home singing various songs everyday that I didn't even know he knew the words too. In addition to singing he will also use sign language for the words. He started singing baa baa black sheep the other day when I was changing him.”

“Great public library, has planet of books. Dow stairs are meeting rooms. Aesthetic is pleasing and modern. Stairwell and Dow stairs is strangely similar to that of a government building. Hands Down cleanest library I've seen. Another notable feature is the pride section, a small bookshelf dedicated to lgbt books.”
