Excellent! It is a great park. It was not open for the season just yet, but you can still visit.
On a side note, the bass fishing was excellent. My party caught a few large bass and we witnessed multiple shore anglers reeling in monsters!
Another side note to the up keep of the park. Everything looked great.
A beautiful lake. Lovely hiking trials. Funny note: when I try to type "lake needwood," my predictive text writes "lake nefarious." It's anything but. It's stunning.
A wonderful spot for photos. Don't let your dogs swim though. There's something in the water that makes them sick.
There are spots where the kids can plan. Some private areas for cookouts and fun. Tons of beautiful scenery. I recommend a visit when the leaves change colors. You'll be astonished.
I'm a photographer and I visit this place often for professional shots. Excuse the model in my photos, I had few shots of the area without her. But you get the vibe and the beauty of the place.
Love this park and lake. It has good trails, nice lake, several picnic areas and very close to metro.
Amazing trees and landscape.
Green in summer, colorful in autumn.
Lots of trails around the lake and wooded areas beautiful in the fall . And dog friendly and picnic areas and plenty of parking.
Beautiful place for biking, hiking or even doing picnics. Trails are amazingly picturesque and not that challenging, even kids can enjoy. Large space for parking and surprisingly not busy on weekends or holidays.
Overall, great place for people who love nature.
