If you need PT, or if you’re even thinking about it, you need to go to R2P. My doc sent me out the door with a handout that described exercises I should do, but with no other guidance. I worked with Anthony at R2P and after a few months, I am happily and safely running again. He allowed me to videotape him doing my homework exercises so I could follow his form when I was home. And I loved that he regularly videotaped me during therapy to demonstrate my “before” and “after” progression on a side-by-side screen. Anthony showed me that PT can be effective AND fun and he made sure that I had a plan in place to move forward. Highly recommend!
Was recommended to this place by a friend as "a step beyond physical therapy, but not a personal trainer", which I think is an apt description. I know they do traditional PT, too, but I think they found a good niche market, filling a gap, in the "what next" arena. The staff is all knowledgeable and friendly, and several have more education than some MDs I know. I think they're best for active people - sports injuries and things - more than, say, an older person with mobility problems, though I couldn't say for sure. I only say that because I don't think I've ever seen anybody in there over 40. Could be wrong, though. I didn't go very many times. Not 5 stars because, in my limited experience, there doesn't seem to be any continuity one visit to the next. Which on one hand could be nice because it can be tailored to your needs for that day and not become just routine where you end up saying "why do I pay for this?" But I couldn't tell if they ever kept track of what they had me do one week to the next. No metrics to track progress (except that horrible survey all these places make you do - for insurance maybe?) and only sometimes an explanation about how the exercises were supposed to help me or what to watch out for in my form. However, I take a lot of the blame for that since I'm really bad at communicating. I recommend keeping an exercise journal for yourself to remember the exercises and keep track of what helps and what doesn't, and to see your progress.
My daughter has a congenital condition and has been in at least 12 different physical therapists. Rehab 2 Perform is the best.
Unlike other physical therapy places they treat you one on one. You are doing the exercises with the physical therapist watching and making sure you are doing them correctly.l
Caleb was amazing!! My daughter developed a rapport with him and he was able to push her when she needed to be pushed. He made more progress with her than she has ever made before.
I cannot say enough positive things about the practice. From the moment you walked in the reception staff, the assistants-especially Sydney, made you feel welcome and like you were a person and not a number
Thank you all for all the good work and effort you put in. I will recommend you to everyone
I am so thankful to have had my internship experience at Rehab 2 Perform over the summer. The environment is perfect place to grow. Every day was a new learning experience. Caleb and Anthony are very knowledgeable and have an incredible way with patients. They ensured that every patient that came in had the very best experience, giving one-on-one attention and tailoring exercises to not only alleviate the problem, but to match the lifestyle. They helped me gain a hands on experience, encouraging me to interact with patients and gain a better handle on working with some common medical equipment. I highly recommend Rehab 2 Perform and hope that my future clinical experiences are just as incredible as this one.
R2P to me is one, if not the best physical therapy facilities out there. They have a wonderful staff that does a great job. They are very knowledgeable, extremely intelligent and overall wonderful people to be around. I really like Dr. Funk, he is very intelligent, highly educated and motivated. He brings a real good feel to the place and is always smiling and having a good time. He is absolutely is amazing at what he does and I could not have ask for a better physical therapist. I just would like to thank the staff who is truly amazing and Dr.Funk who is a Blessing from God. I highly recommend going to R2P in both locations. Either is perfect for getting the right tools you need to be successful.
