“It is 3:00 am and I was awaken by smoke detectors going off in my brand new apartment . There was not a fire however the response from the communities hotline service says to call 911 (seriously) Thank goodness I know the non emergency hotline number and they put us on with Public Safety which happens to be the Wheaton Squad. They got here immediately quickly assessed the place and found it was a faulty fire alarm. I felt so bad contacting the squad for an issue that the building maintenance should be handling however the guys were very nice, professional and was not annoyed by the call at all. Kudos to the station and its staff”
