I found Susie while looking for a hypnotherapist for my daughter who struggles with anxiety and insomnia. My daughter was a bit skeptical about trying hypnosis. Susie’s warm and welcoming demeanor quickly put her at ease. As the week went on after her first session, there were subtle changes in my daughter. She seemed more relaxed, more confident, and she had a few nights of good sleep. My daughter wanted to go back to work with Susie again!
My daughter has had several additional sessions with Susie. At each one they focus on a few specific goals. My daughter likes the changes that she sees in herself and wants to keep working with Susie.
Overall this has been a very positive experience for my daughter. If you are curious about hypnosis, give it a try with Susie at A Quiet Mind Hypnosis.
Susie Buckley has done a wonderful job with my daughter who stutters. My daughter experienced challenges with public speaking. It had gotten so severe, she cried daily about speaking to family, friends, or peers in school. she wouldn’t even order her own food in public because she hated her stutter.
I decided to try an unconventional method for stuttering since we have been in speech therapy since the age of 3. Susie was gentle, patient and open. She offered a clean generous space, friendly persona and allowed myself and my daughter to feel comfortable before starting the conversation.
After two visit I noticed a huge change. Yes, my daughter still stutters, but her attitude, fear, embarrassment, negative thoughts surrounding the stutter have ceased. She started ordering her own food, talking during virtual learning, excessively. Calling people on the phone. These are small activities that she would cry over if you made her because of her anxiety and extreme fear. She even told me, “It feels so good to be free now” and this is coming from a 10 year old.
This experience has changed my opinion of hypnosis. If you are unsure give it a try with Susie Buckley.
