“There are a lot of advantages to Rock Creek Springs - it has a really convenient, walkable location from the Silver Spring metro station and the downtown, it has an IN-UNIT WASHER AND DRYER, the neighborhood is very safe, and the apartments have beautiful parquet floors and lots of light. It's great if you have a dog because they charge a one-time pet deposit as opposed to a monthly pet rent. It feels like living in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood, but the conveniences of downtown Silver Spring are a 10-min. walk away. There is also access to a small gym facility and pool in the summertime. Plus, they don't make you pay a monthly fee for a parking spot. Maintenance usually responds very quickly to requests. One downside has been climate control within the apartment - there is no central air and it can be expensive to cool down in summer or warm up the apartment in winter. Despite that, I recommend living here overall.”

“I first started coming to Emerald Door for the location - a salon in Silver Spring with an actual parking lot and not on a super busy road - already a rare find. But I kept coming back for pedis because everything is perfect! I always ask for Kortnee. She is thorough and meticulous. My feet have never been smoother and my nails have never looked better! She's really nice too and will take your cue - she'll chat if you want to chat, she'll let you relax quietly if that's what you want. Right down to the tea, this place is great! (Ask for the ginger tea - Soooo good especially on a cold day.)”
