“Park is deteriorating, but slated to be renovated later in 2018 and reopened in 2019. A street hockey arena, two dog parks, and an adult fitness area will replace the space that occupied the basketball and tennis courts and the playground will be renovated. As of this writing the nearby Randolph Hills Park is still open and also has two basketball and tennis courts (More info on this project is on the official montgomeryparks website)”

“I hoop there all the time. I went there almost everyday over the summer, so I definitely love it. I am really happy that they renovated it, because before they used the plastic backboards, but now they have really nice glass ones. They also repainted the floors in green and blue, so it looks a lot better too. It also never gets too crowded, so its nice for workouts, because you can get one basket to yourself. The only con is during the winter their is not much you can do, because almost everything there is outdoor. I also made multiple friends there, so im thankful for being able to play there for free, and have had such a great experience. (I never write reviews, but I have gone there for over two years, so I felt I had to)”

Meadowside Nature Center

“Such a wonderful place! There’s a lot to do for kids- several indoor interactive exhibits (more like play areas), a cool crawl-through cave, bird watching areas, and a really neat outdoor play area. There are several really easy hiking trails- we love to walk down to the pond to see if we can see the turtles and frogs. It’s such a beautiful area! We’ve been several times & still have more to explore.”

“A fabulous family experience especially in springtime when the Carousel is open. It's a large carousel, and the rides are just over 5 minutes long for only $1.25. The playground is small but incredibly fun for young children! There is also an aquarium and usually an opportunity to watch artisans in residence at work. It's a fabulous location to take photos whether it be your family or engagement photos! I highly recommend the bridge over the water for photos!!”
