“We went with horses for a trail ride. It is a out and back type ride, not a loop, so I was not expecting too much from it. I loved this trail! So green right now! Great footing when all our other trail options were super muddy. Drawbacks are that the parking lot is small, so it cannot accommodate more than 2 or 2 small tag-along trailers, and the people on the trail seem unused to horses and unaware of the right of way.”

“At peak bloom, these yellow beauties are a sight to behold. Acres upon acres of sunflowers to see. No picking since it's there for the wildlife. A lot of ginormous bees, but somehow you have the feeling that they don't bother you since they are there for the flowers.”
