“All Wood Flooring was the contractor assigned to us when we received estimates from Lumber Liquidators and they did an amazing job! We truly couldn't be happier with the service provided, the work done, and even the cost. We spent a long time (almost 2 years) getting quotes, deciding on the right floor, and budgeting out for the expense (since we wanted very high quality floors) and AWF actually honored their quote to us from almost 2 years ago. Their estimator was great- he came out on a Saturday, gave us several options since we were still deciding on which areas to complete, and was very informative and educational about the types of floors, areas to do, and installation process. The scheduling team and customer service reps were all very responsive and great communicators (sending lots of emails and phone calls back and forth to finalize install details). The installers themselves arrived promptly (actually 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time) and again were super informative about the pieces of wood (including showing us color variations and intentionally putting those in backs of closets or under dishwasher or stove, etc) as well as even went back in and pulled out a couple of pieces of wood that just didn't look quite right once down on the floor. They worked non-stop from 7:45am to 7pm trying hard to finish it in one day instead of two and even on day two (which was needed because such a large area being done) helped us put felt pads on all our furniture before moving everything back in and where it was supposed to be. They tolerated our dogs and children having to sneak through the work area periodically throughout the day for lunch and snacks and were very friendly. We really had a great experience with them and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to put down hardwood flooring.”

Being a first time mom, I was nervous transitioning my two year old into school, but he adapted quickly and I can already see how much he's learning and growing; not to mention he's socializing so well with the other kids in his class. “I’ve used Chesapeake for numerous projects spanning over 11 years. Fernando’s team has the same guys he’s had for over a decade, which shows what an honest, reliable company he runs. They are polite, professional, exceeding helpful, and do excellent work. Fernando has superb design ideas and a full panoply of options in his showroom. When projects lapse, it’s often out of his control. He installed a picture window for us that came broken - twice - which delayed the job, but Fernando managed the delay beautifully. For my first kitchen renovation with him (I’ve done two, plus multiple bathrooms, enclosing a porch, and renovating two basements), I received multiple bids and his was very reasonable. He is a fair and honest man. The negative reviews on here do not reflect my longstanding experience. Even in between jobs, he has stepped in to help me with issues around the house. He is largely hands off while the work gets done, so if you need constant check ins, it’s something you must initiate. But for me, it’s unnecessary. I know Fernando will get everything done.”
