Lake Artemesia Natural Area

It is a wonderful park. Lots of places to have picnics and to walk , bike and hike. The park attracts lot of people from different nationalities...I love it!!

This is one of my favorite places to walk and or start my bike ride. Always clean and has rest rooms too. Very relaxing too. I hope to do some fishing this year.

Beautiful place, with good spots for fishing, and nice trails for walking or riding a bike.

Great place to go for a walk or afternoon fishing trip. Many benches around to sit and enjoy the lake and its waterfowl. You may catch a glimpse of small aircraft taking off or landing to the south at the College Park Airport, the longest continually operating airport in the world! The metro runs adjacent to the west side of the lake, but the birds don't seem to mind. You could walk right up to them! (But don't. They are wild animals and will f@&k you up!)

Lake Artemesia Natural Area is undoubtedly one of the best nature parks in Maryland. It’s so beautifullll with scenic views, This is nature at its best and a hidden gem. It has a walking/biking trail that’s about 2.4 miles. And also perfect for fishing.
