“Small building, but stocks the essentials that you might need. The kayak and canoe rentals are nice, the ice cream and popsicles hit the spot on this hot Maryland day, the cashier was friendly and fast, and the prices are reasonable.”

“This is quaint museum, it is nice and has artifacts from the Civil War Era. To get to the Museum you have to enter the State Park, there is a $3 charge per vehicle. The Museum is by the camping area so you have to stop by the Campground Registration office and get a pass, but they do not charge for the pass, then drop it off in the box before you leave.”

“The lighthouse and surrounded area is currently under construction. The water view is beautiful, and the area where the lighthouse is located was very windy and cold, colder than the St Mary's City area. There is a dog beach - I saw the sign but didn't stop by. It's a nice State Park with beach, dog beach, fishing pier, camping area and hiking trails.”
