Enso Kitchen

Update: Finally got to try the pain au chocolate today. I have had these all over France, and these are amount the best I've had anywhere.

Now open. They serve pasteries, lunch items, and breads. I tried the sourdough and bagettes and I can guarantee that this is the best bread in southern Maryland and probably beyond. If for no other reason it is worth going out of you way to get bread here. It is located in historic St. Mary's, right next to Farthing's Ordinary in a charming old 1700s style building.

I had the Bánh mì sandwich, which was very tasty- the pork was locally sourced and the bread was baked fresh that day. The baguette bread is wonderful as well. Will be ordering from Enso again!

We now have really good bread in Southern Maryland. The black pepper biscuits may be addicting and the cookies are fantastic.

Had a plain crossiant. It was warm, buttery, soft, and flaky - PERFECT. Best crossiant in town! It reminds me of my vacations in France. I've tried the croissants at other bakeries/cafes in the area - there is nothing like this one. I missed out on the cracked pepper biscuit - hope to try it next time.

I have tried many items from Enso Kitchen and it is fabulous. The sandwiches are great! Looking forward to ordering pies for the holidays!
