“Got some basic first aid firefighting training for NCL here and had a great time. they had excellent instructors so learning was easy and fun. The area itself was just beautiful. Theres a bar here where the beer is very very cheep. But, its only domestics. Theres an arts n crafts workshop here too, the lady that runs it is very nice but, you could only make a small decorated leather band when i went (which is pretty cool) Also, the food here was AMAZING!”

“The industry standard for maritime training. Great instructors. You earn your way through the apprenticeship program and it is a great accomplishment afterwards.”

“Nice little place. City folks might think of it as a "dive bar," but it's your standard local watering hole. Didn't try the food, but I saw a number of people coming in to retrieve their takeout. The drinks were reasonably priced and the service prompt. There was a jukebox, pool table, and small dance floor. Good time had by all. If you're going to school at the maritime college, definitely hit this place up.”

“We have been there several times and had the privilege of a Dosent to tell us all the tidbits and tails of times prier. Each time we visit we learn something new. So steeped in historical treasures, charming lighthouse keepers, Coast Guard guarding our shore line that you are transported back in time imagining what it must have been like. There is a museum and long dock to explore. We have yet to pic-nick on the shore line so that is on the to do list. Old Charm, Great Stories, Make Memories with Family...a perfect place to start.”
