The parking is convenient and the lot is always clean. Great place to start a walk or bike ride. The trail up to Hancock is well maintained and frequented by park staff.

Parking is good, but they could add a few more spots. There are always people parked in the grass if the weather is nice. There are restrooms here and they seem to be maintained at regular intervals.

Nice parking lot at the beginning of the Rails-to-Trail.

Clean pit toilets. No water.

People are friendly.

There is an area to lock your bicycles.

Also, train watching.

Parked here for a 20+ mile bike ride for our scout troop. The boys had a good time. We had a few cars parked overnight and didn't have any issues. Nice place to park and start your C&O canal trail ride.
