“Not a huge buffet. Never overly crowded. Nice and quiet. No hustle and bustle. Cheaper than other buffets. Good food. Nice amount of choices. Sometimes it takes a while for them to refill food trays that need refilled. A lot of people tend to check the buffet choices before choosing to sit down and eat. We usually go to the big buffet on the Dual but once in a while we choose this one if we are on the south side of town, want to avoid crowds, save money, and don't mind less choices. I also like this one because it is a family owned restaurant.”

Upon arrival the Chef seated us with complimentary delicious breads while order was completed. After a minute our food was done. We were made to feel at home just like visiting family. The Chef even showed us our food prior to settling up. Even though, ordered standard items the food was fresh, hot, delicious and unique. “I got a sweet onion sub with chicken and I told the lady there what I wanted for my toppings and that I wanted tomato and instead they put mayonnaise. I think the staff is a little hard of hearing. So make sure that you shout your order in. I remember how Subway was 20 years ago to be honest but I do know that they felt like they were more filling so these are really have a lot of meat in them so you just need too add a lot of toppings.”

My husband had the New York strip, he said it was one of the best steaks he has ever had,was like eating butter it melted in his mouth. I tried a bite and I must say it was excellent. We order the chicken tenders for an appetizer which was perfect for the 4 of us. Then we had fish and chips and crab cake sandwich. The fish is a big fish and it has tons of fries! Our daughter both wanted fish and chips. Our girls shared one order (adult size) and had fries and fish left over. The coleslaw was very good as well. *For parents with kids in diapers, there is no changing table and there is no surface to use to change a diaper. The bathroom is a single toilet and is really small. That said, it is big enough for a parent and child to go into the bathroom together - my two daughters and myself all fit in there without any issue.”
