Asbury United Methodist Church is in the midst of a journey we're calling the "I Am" project, an intentional effort to rebuild our life together around the seven I Am statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John. In worship and small groups, we are creating space to re-focus on God's call to a new generation.
Worship at Asbury reflects the wonderful Wesleyan heritage of the United Methodist Church. We strive to mirror God's grace throughout each worship opportunity as we tell the story of The Asbury Choir leads the 11:00 worship service every Sunday and our other ensembles lead on a rotating basis.

Asbury United Methodist Church has a long and rich history. Beginning in our ministry in 1888, we were a mission of First Methodist Episcopal Church South and Winfield Episcopal Methodist Church South. The newly formed congregation first met in an old store building on Eighth Street.
