(July 6, 2019, 4:03 pm)A great spot! A ton of campsites, some with great views that are fairly secluded. They all have fire pits and the camp store sells wood, among a bunch of other helpful items.
The women who run the place are friendly and helpful and they have discount passes to Wingersheek beach, which is a short drive away.
Highly recommended!
(July 5, 2019, 11:23 am)Great little camping spot, located about a mile from the beach. Road to campground are a bit narrow and trick so definitely go slow. Getting through the campground to sites in back with large equipment are a bit tricky but an experience driver shouldn't have trouble navigating through the campground. Staff is very friendly.
(June 30, 2019, 6:58 pm)Campground was peaceful and friendly. Great view from our campsite. Went kayaking along the salt marsh. The boat launch was .4 away. Biked the mile over to Wingaersheek Beach. Parked in downtown Gloucester for longer bike rides to Cranes Beach, Singing Beach, and Good Harbor Beach.
(June 29, 2019, 2:07 pm)Another gem in Cape Ann. They have some great camping sites for tents up to class A vehicles. Super friendly people; from the owners to employees and guests. They have a great camp store on site but it's also close to shops. I owe them some books for their library. I haven't forgotten. Hope I can get back there sometime soon!
(May 28, 2019, 3:38 pm)It’s a standard campground with a classic feel. There is a nice camp office with firewood, ice, and various provisions. They even have used books and beach toys at reasonable prices. There is information on the local area as well as Boston. There are sites for RVs and tents and most of the sites are amongst the trees which makes for the most authentic experience. They have normal sized sites as well as sites that can easily fit multiple tents. The bathrooms are nice and the showers are clean, but showers cost 25 cents for 5 minutes so bring quarters. The location is nice with proximity to adorable little coastal towns as well as a nice beach just a mile down the road.
