Great food! Staff was exceptional! We're going to go back. Worth the trip
Very clean and welcoming place. We had two lobster rolls with fries and beets salad and a clam chowder. Everything was very delicious and made with a lot of love. They even make there own fries. I just can recommend this place.
Great food and service. I always find my way back here when I am in the area. While I was there customers were offered a dog treat and water for their dog who was waiting for them outside. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff!
My partner is an electrician and did some work here last week, and he raved about the food & about the employees/owners! He was very pleased with their frenchfries, specifically, but said they also have really great haddock (fried). I trust his opinion in this department, since I'm not much of a fish or fried foods lover anymore & my kids seem to love the food here too.
This is a secret gem overshadowed by it’s more famous competitor up the street (the clam box). I greatly prefer this restaurant. The food is excellent, there is no crazy line out the door, and it is family owned and operated with very friendly people. Their clam chowder is the best in town, and that is no small feat. (This is Ipswich, MA which is known for clams, and they keep winning for best chowder at the Ipswich Clam Chowder festival.) My personal favorite lunch is the clam strip roll and a cup of chowder. Highly recommended as an alternative to the Clam box if you don’t want to wait forever, and want better food!
