“This place is New England! The building is one of the oldest buildings on the east cost. There is also a ghost. I didn't believe my friend and asked a few people on the wait staff about it. When I asked each person about it there face got very serious looking and then they nodded yes. Almost like they we're scared to say. I had the prime rib. It was almost as big as my head and it was maybe the best I have ever had! The bar area is my favorite place to eat in the winter. Dark, fireplace, big cozy chairs, great food and drinks.”

“In September 2016 my family went thru a lengthy process trying to purchase an equestrian property in Ipswich listed by J Barrett. The selling agent and buyer were not uber friendly but I'm new to MA and thought perhaps that was just the culture. After requiring an appraisal on 16 lakemans lane, my suspicions were correct. The wonderful property lists for $679K and is only appraised at $610K.
