The Dr. Nina Scarito Park (Scarito Park), named in honor of a local obstetrician, was the first brownfield-to-open space project completed in 2006. Forward planning coupled with the success of Scarito Park allowed three additional revitalization projects along the Spicket to move forward rapidly.
