“If you want to worship with a small group of dedicated Jewish families, this Congregation is for you. We meet on one Friday night per month, according to the Hebrew Calendar. We sing and pray according to the Sephardic tradition, although we have several Ashkenazi families and individuals in our Congregation. Congregation Tifereth Israel is Traditional. All are welcome. There is always a lovely Oneg after services, provided by members. Our High Holidays Days are especially meaningful, as we have interactive services with much participation by our dedicated members. Social events include Congregation meetings, Hanukkuh parties, Movie nights, Ice Cream socials, and various other events throughout the year. There is a Ladies Group that meets three or four times a year.Our mission is to support the congregation and we have some fun along the way. Dues are reasonable and our synagogue building is well maintained. Next services are October 16, 2015 at 7:30pm Nancy Furtado Duerr 9/26/15”
