Beautiful query. You can walk around the loop around the query. Also you can walk down to the beach. Only large rocks and no sand. Wheel chair accessible. Large paid parking but cheap. Portable toilets in parking lot available.
Halibut State Park is a pleasant outing for any family and is very easy to walk around for all ages. Beautiful and scenic. Quiet and peaceful. Please note that the stones near the water and very slippery and everyone should take extra care while walking over the stones.
I've been going here for decades. The view from the top of the rock pile is spectacular . Going the low route takes you down to where the breakers crash against the huge rocks. Be advised that dogs on leashes are allowed, but, of course, there will always be the few who would ignore this. The beauty of this place is spectacular.
Beautiful and interesting park. Next to the rocky shore is an old quarry with an easy walking trail marked with historical and other information about the quarry process. There is also a fun search for kids and/or adults with a "treasure map" which can be found at the information booth in the parking lot. You can walk down to the ocean here, not so easy a walk as the rest of the trail, but worth the effort. Kiosk to pay for parking. Helpful park staff
Great place for a walk. Can bring dogs on leash. Beautiful scenery. Walk around lake in old granite pit and walk down to beach. You can also walk to overlook for beautiful ocean view
