Large picnic areas and tables with seats. Very beautiful scenery for wedding photography. Close walk to the beach that opens into the Atlantic ocean. Quarry has beautiful panaromic views.”

Halibut Point State Park

Address: Gott Ave, Rockport, MA 01966, USA

Park

“Beautiful and interesting park. Next to the rocky shore is an old quarry with an easy walking trail marked with historical and other information about the quarry process. There is also a fun search for kids and/or adults with a "treasure map" which can be found at the information booth in the parking lot. You can walk down to the ocean here, not so easy a walk as the rest of the trail, but worth the effort. Kiosk to pay for parking. Helpful park staff”
