What a fun activity to do when in New England for the summer! The crew is the best. They are super nice and really helpful. We were celebrating my boyfriends birthday and did their Bloody Mary day sail! It was awesome! The schooner is beautiful!
On a whim, my family decided on a cruise for some summer Sunday fun and scored the last tickets on When and If - and are we glad we did! We loved every minute on this gorgeous schooner(that once belonged to General Patton) from the friendly, welcoming staff to the gorgeous views of the Northshore shoreline. We even spotted a whale!! Sailing was a perfect way to spend an afternoon (especially with a refreshing Bloody Mary in hand) and I highly recommend this awesome experience!
My husband and I went on the sunset trip and really enjoyed it. The crew was really friendly and chatted with my husband about sailing in terms he understood (as someone who has done some sailing). And then were great explaining it to me, who knows nothing about sailing at all. I recommend getting a Diesel Fuel drink, because that’s what Gen. Patton drank and you’re going to be on his boat. When in Rome, baby! And enjoy the beautiful views, the snacks, a few local stories. And the beautiful boat herself. Totally worth it. Would recommend to anyone. And you might even get to see this cute dog!!! PS consider wearing a matching dinosaur outfit and ask if they’ll give you a discount! LOL - JK!
What was the best day of the summer for my wife and I, taking a cruise on the "When and if" it was George Patton's boat originally George Patton named it that because he said winning if this war ever ends ,I'm going through Cruise the world. well he never got a chance
We had an awesome time on the sunset tour. Eric the captain was great and a very skilled sailor. He is also a great guy and was very understanding and knowledgeable. My wife was a bit scared and he took the extra time and caution to make her feel comfortable out on the water. He also let our 17 year old daughter take the helm for a bit and she really loved it. I would give Eric 6 stars. He even suggested some places we could eat after. He is a really great guy and I was happy we chose this company.
