“I recently went to Jay’s Cleaners and discovered it is under new management. Back in the day, when I worked and wore expensive clothes, I only went to Jay’s. The new owner, Selva, consulted me about my dirty, water-stained curtain panels. I appreciated her honesty in telling me that some spots cannot be eradicated entirely. The panels came back almost like new. Perfect for my purposes. Jay’s is still the best!”

“I got a great cut today. Loriana cleaned up a really messy former style, gave me great advice on styles to suit me, and sent me out looking polished and sleek. Comfortable shop, easy to find. The building is easy to see but traffic at the Loring corner can be demanding. There is a parking close, and plenty of free street parking. There is a ramp for wheelchairs. Reasonably priced, midrange.”

“They’ve been fantastic! I was initially put off by having to leave a voicemail to register my 3 kids, but I received a call back within 24 hours to complete the process. After living in many different areas over the past 6 years, with many different pediatricians, I can’t say enough good things about this practice. We’ve seen 3 doctors at PHCA of Salem since signing up, and every single one has been great. They were able to order the necessary tests and referrals to get my youngest daughter diagnosed with a milk allergy, and you can easily get sick visits same-day. Every single staff member has been kind and helpful. I’m in a number of groups for Swampscott/Marblehead/Salem parents, and it was due to their referrals that I contacted PHCA. I highly recommend!”

“This is a wonderful little place for a light breakfast, coffee, or lunch stop. There's sufficient space inside with tables and chairs to rank this as a self-serve restaurant. In warmer weather, a patio with umbrella-ed tables gives additional gathering space. They also do a big take-out business, a favorite sandwich place for those who work in the area. The food is wonderful, made on site with fresh ingredients. If you're tired of big-chain eateries, this is the place to come.”
