“We spent the summer here in our camper. Was definitely the best summer spent camping. Staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Facilities and grounds were kept clean daily. Would recommend to any family who wants to camp in the seacoast area.”

Rusnik Campground

Address: 115 Lafayette Rd, Salisbury, MA 01952, USA

Campground Rv park Lodging Park

“I love Rusnik Campground! It is conveniently located to area beaches, has a Market Basket right down the road and a very large shopping mall is also nearby. The campground is maintained with pride and the pool is expertly maintained with crystal clear water. The individual campsites are nice, most with shrubberies and such between them for a bit of privacy. It is dog friendly but all animals must be leashed. Bath houses are clean. Staff is super helpful, informative and supportive. The quiet hours are enforced which is also helpful for families with small children.”

“Nice camping area. Clean bathroom, fire and dogs allowed. Mostly RV, but we stayed with a tent. Fee per night was $48.”

Beach Rose RV Park

“Very nice RV Park. My husband and I stayed here for one week. Very easy to check in and get to our site. We stayed in site #43 pull through with full hookups. We have a 43 ft. 5th wheel and had no trouble getting in or out of campground. Owners are excellent and made us feel very welcomed. The owners do a great job maintaining the park. The dog park is huge and my two little dogs loved it. The next time we are in Massachusetts we will definitely stay at Beach Rose RV Park again.”

Pines Camping Area

Address: 28 Sand Hill Rd, Salisbury, MA 01952, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“This was a pretty nice campground. We stayed here in August for a total of three days, camping in a tent. The spot we were allocated was large enough to accommodate us and provided ample shade and seclusion. The bathrooms were nice and clean (although showers cost 25 cents for 3 minutes). Fortunately for us, one of the shower meters was broken and we bathed for free! Staff didn't seem as friendly as I'd expect, but what can you do. Price was already acceptable due to the proximity of the Ocean. We'd definitely return.”

Salisbury Beach State Reservation

Address: 1 Beach Rd, Salisbury, MA 01952, USA

“This is great, plenty of parking, clean bathrooms. There is a longish boardwalk down to the beach. It’s so beautiful and not at all commercialized. Lovely beach you can walk on for a long while.”

Cape Ann Camp Site

Campground Rv park Park Lodging

“Another gem in Cape Ann. They have some great camping sites for tents up to class A vehicles. Super friendly people; from the owners to employees and guests. They have a great camp store on site but it's also close to shops. I owe them some books for their library. I haven't forgotten. Hope I can get back there sometime soon!”

Lorraine Park Campground

Address: 133 Jenkins Rd, Andover, MA 01810, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“You get what you are looking for. Peace and quiet in a pristine environment. A bit long to get to and pitch black at night to drive through. The roads are kind of tricky to handle with a big travel trailer but the sites are beautiful and well spaced out which allows for space and privacy. Facilities are clean and functional but a bit on the breezy side in the Fall. One star less because our water spout was broken, and despite our urgent request got never repaired.”

Winter Island Park

Address: 50 Winter Island Rd, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Campground Rv park Park Lodging

“It's a fun place to explore with kids. I've only been in the off-season. There is a good playground, trails around the island, old bunkers, a small beach, a small lighthouse, an abandoned coast guard building, an old hangar, and boats. It's easy to spend about 2 hours exploring with kids.”

Danvers Forestry Department

Address: 17 Hobart St, Danvers, MA 01923, USA

Campground Local government office Park Lodging

Camp Nihan Environmental Education Camp

Address: 131 Walnut St, Saugus, MA 01906, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“These grounds are gorgeous and really well-kept! The sites were clean and the facilities function like new. When we realized this campground was in the middle of a city we were expecting some sort of generic park that allows camping, but it doesn’t feel like you are in a city. Lots of space and scenery to walk around, and a decent forested area connected to the grounds. On top of all that, the ranger is fantastic. You can tell he genuinely wants you to enjoy your trip, and he is pretty knowledgeable about local wildlife! Highly recommend this place for beginners or anyone wanting a nice simple camping trip. The cabins are also very nice!”
