She also said that David was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering her the opportunity to look at the units to see if the size was right for our needs. “I've used Big Foot for 2 moves now, the most recent being between 2 east coast cities. The pre-move arrangements for the latter move were not ideal. I would have appreciated more proactive interaction in the few days prior to the move. I reached out to ask when I should expect the truck and was told one thing; later that day, the timing of the pick up changed to the day PRIOR to the day of the move. So. Scramble to finish packing in time to accommodate that schedule. At my request, they did push the timing of the pick up as late in the day as possible, but it would have helped to know more than 2 days prior to the move that I had one less packing day than expected. The workers were organized and swift, but not particularly pleasant. One was downright rude to me and to the staff at the condominium. However, our belongings arrived in good condition and on time. UPDATE: Bob and Mike at BF Moving reached out to me immediately to respond to my concerns listed above. I was very pleased with the timing of the response, their commitment to improvement and continued excellent customer service:”

“Love, love, love Acton's main st mini storage. After some horrific experiences with other businesses around the area the third time proved to be the charm. My wife and I put a deposit on a unit over the computer at public storage in Westford. When we showed up they wanted a list of what items we were going to store. We said no they said we couldn't rent there. Next stop was sav-space in Littleton where we were greeted by an a man looking as if he was just paroled. This greeter didn't know anything, his words, he was just there to keep people there until the owner made her way down. We left there quickly. Arrived at main st mini storage where Marcia, pretty sure that's her name, took wonderful care of us. Showed us bigger units than the other places suggested in our price range with a smile and information to answer any questions. When we started moving things in we got to meet Kate who carried along the torch of professional and courteous care.”
