“This site is to launch human powered boats only. 5 car parking lot. 1 porta potty. On busy weekends, it makes more sense to park on the street so as to not get blocked in by other parking cars in the tiny parking lot.”

“Beautiful scenery and a fantastic location to see nature at it’s finest. Fun for all ages in a healthy way that is not synthetic and electronic. Many kid friendly areas for the young children who could potentially get hurt. Good walking but not to difficult for people who aren’t looking for a grand adventure. Easily found and lots of parking room is one of the many features that makes Henry Park stand out. Excellent forests for nature lovers but is also amazing for those just looking for some good old fashioned exercise. Come to this park for green, gorgeous plants, colossal trees and if you are lucky cute wildlife. Will be back soon. One of the best parks I have ever been to.”

“Close to home a hidden gem for a short easy hike. Wear appropriate shoes and bring a walking stick as there are a lot of roots and rocks along the trail. May be muddy and a bit slippery as well. Great views of quarries and stone wall borders.”

“Bovey Woodlot is a wooded trail you can use to get to and from the Freeman Rail Trail to High St. It is a steep hill rising from the Freeman Rail Trail to High St. Best for hiking or mountain biking. You would have to walk a road bike. It is a nice change from the flat rail trail. It is also a convenient cut through if you want to ride up to Robin Hill tower.”

“I went here to enjoy the mountain biking, and it did not disappoint. There is a great mix of twisty, bermed, flow and some technical rocky stuff. Not a bunch of climbing, but some is rather technical so what it lacks in elevation gain it makes up for with tech challenge. I would highly recommend for more advanced riders, but beginners would have fun too.”
