“My kids ride this bus, and I appreciate when I can ride it, too, and chat with neighbors. The bus drivers are so nice and have been driving in town for years and really know the riders. The "flag" system can take some getting used to, but once you realize you can get on and off anywhere along the route, it is really handy! Just wave to driver as he approaches, and the bus will stop. You can get to Burlington Mall, Arlington Heights, and all sorts of places within Lexington on this bus.I love that it is intergenerational and people of all ages use it. It helps reduce social isolation for our seniors, teaches kids how to be independent, and helps commuters connect to MBTA, and even gets people to the grocery store!”
