“Lexington Christian Academy is more than a school - it's a community where our children are growing and thriving. It's a place where our children's natural, God-giving talents and abilities are not only uncovered and revealed, but honed and strengthened day by day. The faculty and staff sincerely care about each and every student at LCA. From their state of the art facilities, to the playing fields, to the performing arts center, there is a place to grow and thrive for every student at this school.”

“(Joan DeLellis) Had an major operation on my right ankle, also had to learn how to walk again. My very 1st time in a rehab. I would HIGHLY recommend this place just for the PT & OT alone. My Dr. was so very pleased with how fast I was healing and the help I was receiving at Care One that I was told I will be walking on my own in Feb. instead of May as I was told in the 1st place.”

“FIVE STARS for REHAB!! I am a 32 year old mother of 2 young children and was at Lexington Health Care for 3 weeks after 5 days at Mt Auburn, post-op for ankle surgery and multiple foot/leg fractures. I am currently non-weight bearing on both feet and am wheelchair bound. I have to admit, when I found out that I was being discharged to a Skilled Nursing Facility, I didn't know what to expect and was disappointed it wouldn't be a full scale Rehab clinic. They quickly proved me wrong! There is a short-term rehabilitation unit with a very caring, responsive and talented staff of PTs and OTs. Their treatment plan took me from basically being immobile and dependent to (nearly) independent in a matter of 2 weeks. I enjoyed working with a variety of therapists, as each had a different approach to the treatment plan and exercises for me. The therapists individualized my treatment plan based on my age, ability, and interests. It was a pleasure being here during National Rehabilitation Week, where Rudy and the staff cooked a most enjoyable breakfast for all of the residents. They are professional and seem to have a high morale. I looked forward to Gym Time every day! I am also so thankful for all of the staff, CNAs and RNs that helped me through a very difficult time with smiles and encouragement. My only recommendation is to improve the vegetarian meals and improve the WIFI! ”

“Whipple Hill is a small conservation area on the Winchester / Lexington border. There is sometimes limited parking but you can park on nearby side streets. There is a central ridge - Whipple Hill is the highest point on the NW side of Boston of the hills surrounding Boston Basin - with a few views, and a number of marked forest paths. There is also a nice pond with a small loop around that. Boardwalks protect some of the muddiest areas.”

“A good place to view meteor showers as well as sunsets. Not much view of Boston or the local area, however. Dogs are welcome.”
