“I had Basnett Plumbing remove a fiberglass tub/shower unit and replace it with just a tub. They did a fine job with that and quickly left. I felt like they were in a real hurry to leave, they didn’t even accompany me to inspect their work. Upon first inspection, everything looked fine. I had my tile guy scheduled for the following day. He came in and started to tile the walls. Halfway through he called me in to point out that the shower head, spout, and overflow were not centered on the tub but were off by about 4 inches. Of course, I understand that the old fiberglass unit was thicker which caused the issue. However, if the Basnett guys had taken the time to explain the situation to me instead of just running off, I could have made an informed decision to have them fix it or just leave it. Now, my walls are tiled and to fix the problem will be a major expense. I’m really disappointed with their customer service. I have to say that I stand corrected. I am thoroughly impressed with the customer service that I have received from Basnett. Upon reading my initial 1-star review, they immediately sent someone to my house to inspect the work. We agreed that I would pay what I would have if the work was done at the time of install and they would pay to have the tile work repaired. I thought this was a reasonable solution. They sent someone out the following day (which happened to be a Saturday) and the work was completed within hours. My tile guy come out the next week to repair the tile. The tile work ended up costing more than the work that Basnett did. I paid the tile guy directly and worried that I might never be reimbursed for his work. However, once again the people at Basnett shocked me. I emailed over a copy of my check and the invoice from the tile guy and within days I received a check for the difference from Basnett. Once again, I stand corrected...Basnett Plumbing could give lessons on customer service!!!”

“I always have a great experience at Cataldo's gifts. Let me tell you about my most recent adventure here. I was looking for a birthday present for my dad, something related to birding. I was hoping to get a birdbath, but I'm about a week too early to get one from the store. That didn't stop a very kind person from showing me into the greenhouse outdoors, across the way and not connected to the store, to see the stock they did have in stock, and the, also showing me around the store to be able to see any of the models they had on display. Then, despite not getting a bird bath that they did have in stock, they were very kind and wrapped the two presents I did get for my mother in an incredibly thoughtful way. I included a photo of my mom, very happy, with her very cool gifts wrapped in a very cool way. Also, great prices here. And really a lot of stuff to choose from for all type of occasion.”
