(January 9, 2019, 4:06 pm)I had Sergey restore my original Winchester 1873, and I could not be happier with the work he did. When I dropped the gun off for restoration, it was not functional and needed a refinish. Not only did Sergey complete the restoration quickly and at a reasonable price, but the gun looks magnificent. Sergey took my non-functional, rusted old Winchester and turned it into a beautiful rifle that not only looks great but shoots straight as well. One wouldn't be able to tell that it had been worked on and refinished; the restoration was just perfect. I would highly recommend Sergey for any restoration work or repair and will be bringing all my guns to Sergey in the future. Not only is Sergey a highly knowledgeable and skilled gunsmith, but he is also very friendly and personable. Overall, a fantastic gunsmith, the best gunsmith I know of, whom I cannot recommend highly enough.

(June 27, 2018, 2:55 pm)Excellent service and very good work; restoration of the beautiful Damascus pattern on a very old N Davis ten gauge double and other full restoration of the gun itself. Also, some very entertaining educational conversation regarding guns in general. Fair pricing as well.
(June 12, 2018, 8:43 am)I brought three older firearms to Rustblue. We reviewed what I wanted for each firearm, and what was feasible based on initial inspection. The most work was completed on a 100 year old 22 youth rifle. The barrel was relined and a new trigger spring was manufactured. The turnaround was much faster than I anticipated. The price was fair. I will be returning when I have future gunsmithing needs!
