“Life changing to be evaluated. Finally I find out its Asperger's. I think I could have improved on testing and the process was fun. I am reaching out to Aspie support here through meetup, AANE, and Yale. My friend works at the UCSD Excellence Center for Autism but it's only for preschool age, I will reach out to my friend because her son was refreshingly different as a preschooler. I think that Asperger's individuals aren't well understood in the sense that many of us are listening fully to what others say instead of the 80% of communication is body language adage. I have empathy for people just not over trivial matters. Weird Al is an aspie. Nikolai Tesla and Einstein -- asperger's anything those individuals have has to be a good thing. I have finally started doing review work so I can do better in academics in the future. I enjoyed the excercises and the 'champ' encouragement. I had a high school teacher who said I have total recall. Really glad I was referred here for testing.”
