“What a great Italian option here in Waltham. My husband and I went for date night and started off with an almost immediate acknowledgment for some water. Then greeted by our excellent very personable, proffessional yet very down to earth, friendly server, Mariah. For an appetizer we started with the charcuterie board. Then I got the skirt steak and frites. Husband got the pork chop. I've had some pretty good cuts of steak before, but I have to say this little gem made my top 5 best steak list. I ordered it rare and you could have cut it with a butter knife. The flavor was like a juice grenade went off in My mouth. We finished with the Pistachio creme Brule. WOW, the best I've ever had. Our server, Mariah, thank you for making our date night an unforgettable evening. You were very attentive and easy and fun to talk to while holding the proffessional stature that one must keep while working in a finer dinning establishment such as The Federal. We will be certain to ask to sit in your section next time we make a reservation. Thank you! Over all it was an amazing exerience and highly recommend The Federal !”
