(August 3, 2018, 3:49 pm)We moved from the Chicago area and had to find a new veternarian for our beagle mix, Chuckie. After going to a few, Massachusetts Animal Hospital became our chose. They are really good to care for a rambunctious 2 1/2 year old. Highly recommend them
(December 5, 2017, 9:29 pm)I have a theory about vet's offices. There are the old fashioned, one-vet kind, usually small, a little dingy, but cheaper and they treat you like family. Then there are the big shiny fancy ones with many vets (often not staying long), convenient but expensive and not always very warm. This place gives you the best of both worlds. It's large and has several vets yet they know you and are polite and helpful. Our vet Dr. Boardman is fantastic: thorough, down-to-earth and kind, even with our often ill-behaved critters. They are open 7 days a week (yes really) which means eventually you'll save a bundle not having to go to the emergency vet (such as the Sunday when our dog ate the corncob). I've been to lots of vets and this is one of the best I've encountered.
