“My son has been attending Goddard for the past year and we have loved our experience. We had a very unsafe experience at another daycare and were nervous about trying a new place, but Goddard quickly both those fears at ease. It was obvious very quickly that my son was in a safe place that promotes his well-being and development. He runs in the door every morning, because he is so excited to be there. The staff is very receptive and responsive. I could not recommend this daycare more!”

“I chose Montessori Escuela as my son's first school because the director, Maria, is both amazingly kind and completely in tune with a child's individual needs. I immediately felt her warmth and knew I could trust her with my precious child. I was originally drawn to the school for the Spanish immersion aspect, but Maria took the time to teach me about the brilliance of the Montessori method of educating. My son has been so happy at "the yellow house school" (he calls it) and I am continually impressed by the things he learns there. The high teacher to student ratio has meant that my son gets plenty of personalized attention and they go out of their way to bring special learning materials to cater to each child's preferences, family culture and developmental milestones. For instance, my son is potty training now, and Maria and the other teachers have made sure there are plenty of learning materials available to help him in the process. The school is not inexpensive, but it is a top notch place and certainly worth every penny!”

“Best all around preschool in the metro west area. Amazing teachers who are committed to not only teaching but encouraging your kids to grow and develop through enriching activities. Awesome location, with a great outdoor playground, and kid-oriented spaces. I recommend it to all my friends.”

“I sent my daughter and then son to Wayland Montessori and they have helped each one to become lifelong learners. They have a wonderful way of matching the full Montessori program to the specifics of each student who joins them. Go visit and see for yourself--the environment they and the children create is just amazing. you'll want to be 3 years old yourself.”

“We have lived in Wayland since 2001 to 2014! Had our son there from birth to 13 years old. This picture was taken in front of his elementary school Happy Hollow School. There, he spent his early years and had a lot of fun. This particular picture was taken in one of the afternoon when I was waiting to pick him up from the school. It was where I was standing all the time while waiting for him, suddenly the light turned from a cloudy gray color into this bright beam and the entire area was in the warmth of the foliage color. I literally ran back home (no iPhone 7+ yet then) and get my Nikon digital SLR, took a few of them. The whole thing lasted less than 15 minutes.”

“I am an eighth grader in this school, I also made a cringe-worthy comment two years ago but whatever, I excuse myself. I would rate this school an 11/10, especially for a public school. In sixth grade I fell upon hard times. The guidance counselor and the special education team actually cared about me and helped me with my emotional/behavioral problems (and still do). Even if you're not in "Special Ed (really dislike those two words)" the teachers care about you and will help you succeed, no matter what. The curriculum is really engaging and almost all teachers are warm and friendly. Another fantastic thing about this school are the things they do to make the school feel like a community with morning TAG Groups, house blocks, FLEX, fieldtrips and school clubs. Another thing is that they give you a lot of free-time and classes where you can express yourself and be an individual such as: Applied Science, where you can build and decorate wood structures, Music, where you can express yourself with the wonder that is sound, Drama, where you get to have the spotlight and express yourself emotionally (you can do that in the guidance counselors room too) and Art, which is one of the most expressive and imaginative class. In conclusion, everyone who goes to this school is incredibly lucky to go to such a place for free. I am glad to have had three years in such an amazing building that I am happy to call my school. . ”

“Kevin has been our family's drum instructor for over 10 years. He taught my teenage son and now he is teaching me. He provides the perfect blend of technical instruction and getting me to just love playing drums - which I do! I look forward to continuing our lessons and improving my skills. I highly recommend Kevin to anyone, child or adult, who is interested is learning to play the drums.”

“We've had two children attend Wayland Creative and we just can't say enough about the kindness of the staff and how uniquely conscientious and nurturing they are. Our children felt so at home there. They encourage children to grow in so many ways, always coming from a perspective of caring and curiosity and creativity. The director, Suzanne, is like a breath of fresh air. She is so interested and involved in both the child and the parent experience. As a mother herself, she has invaluable insights into raising children, but also understands and prioritizes the needs of parents and the whole family. And she's a real person. You never feel like you're getting a corporate mission statement. Just honesty and integrity and a true love of children. Every teacher there is nurturing and wonderful. Our children aren't without challenges, but the teachers are such pros, they foster a feeling of true safety to support them to get over any challenges. I remember when our son had his first day, years ago, and he was very tentative. To see the combination of skill and care that it took to get him over that hump was remarkable. Before you even arrive, a teacher will visit your home and hang out for a bit and get to know your child in their environment. It sets up a wonderful connection between the child's safe spaces and really gives the teacher insight into the family dynamic. We have four children and we've been to dozens (!) of schools over the years, public and private. Different styles and approaches and ideologies, from Preschools all the way to High Schools, and Wayland Creative really stands out as a place where our children were loved and respected and given a platform to become the very best they could be, each in their own individual way.”

“We have been at Bright Horizons Wayland for almost 3 years. Both my girls started in the infant class at the end of my leave. My oldest is now in preschool and my youngest is getting ready to transfer to the toddler class. We have loved all our teachers and administrators. They really are our extended family and they take care of not only our girls but my husband and I as well. Our daughters are as comfortable there as they are at home with us. I cannot recommend Bright Horizons Wayland highly enough to other parents looking for childcare options. It’s the best feeling to drop my kids off in the morning and have zero worries that they are safe, loved, and having a great time!”

“Loker is the best school. The teachers and principal are awesome. The only thing I don't like is sometimes they give too much homework and the school lunch isn't the best.”
