I flew up to Boston for a golf tournament and threw my back out the morning of the tournament. I frantically tried to fix the issue myself, but was unsuccessful. Luckily I found Joe and was able to visit his office before our afternoon tee time. Joe took his time and performed a miracle on my back. Prior to visiting him I was unable to walk or move. Through his program of stretches, massages, acupuncture and cupping he was able to get me out on the course that afternoon. Joe's professionalism and follow-up has been incredible and my back has never felt better. When I am back in the Boston area I plan on visiting him again to make sure everything is still in line. Big thanks to Joe and the work that he did!
I have had an amazing experience with physiotherapist Joe Rigby. Joe is actively treating the patient for the 30 minutes of the session. Furthermore, he often attends to courses during the weekends to further improve his practice. This tells a lot on his mentality: providing the best care for his patients.
In my case, sessions included mostly spotting areas of muscle tightness, active release and gastron. After the session (and not during, unlike most other PTs), I would then perform stretching and strengthening following what he had taught to me.
I also very much appreciate his willingness to answer any question I would ask. I tend to ask many questions, typically of the form "What is the impact of X on medical condition Y, and why". For each question, he would carefully reflect on the human physiology and provide a very scientific answer (I'm familiar with medical research).
