If anyone is having pain, do NOT think you need to live in pain. Call Dr.Jensen today!!

I am 27 years old and I was having terrible lower back pain. I am a nurse and a dance teacher so I am on my feet ALOT, and this pain was terrible. It would come and go, not really being able to figure out the triggers, although I knew running/working out exacerbated it. I finally broke down and called Dr.Jensen's office. The first thing that was amazing was Dr.Jensen answered the phone himself, and when I told him what was going on and asked for an apt next week he wanted to fit my in ASAP.

The first apt was spent doing a very thorough exam. X-rays, nerve testing the whole kit and caboodle. Once it was over Dr.Jensen told me he thought my pain was muscular. I was happy that it wasn't anything more serious (like a disc or pinched nerve) but I was a little skeptical that ALL the pain i was having was from muscular pain. We started treating immedietly doing stretches and using ATR technique. This is a technique which combines manipulation and movement, which treats problem areas. Twice a week for 2 weeks and then.... I WAS PAIN FREE! I now go once a week, do continue to work on the area but I can not believe it.

Other chiropractors I have been to focus on adjusting adjusting adjusting without getting down to the real problem. Dr.Jensen wants to know what hurts at each visit (even has you fill out a diaghram where you rate the pain your having ) and fixes the area!

You will not regret it, make an appointment!

I originally found Dr Jensen and Wilmington Family Chiropractic through a Google search. I called to find out more about their services and was told about "Active Release" techniques by Dr Jensen's assistant after I described my problem (Forearm / Thumb Tendinitis). After 3 visits, my pain was minimal. After my 4th visit, the pain and discomfort were completely gone. I had nagging pain for several months which he cured in a week and a half. I had never heard of Active Release before, but would certainly recommend going to see Dr Jensen if you are experiencing any type of pain or discomfort.

My 15 year old daughter had a sore back and plays soccer. Dr. Jensen found she had tight hip flexors and was over compensating when she ran and put pressure on her lower back. A few adjustments and some at home exercises and she felt 100% relief! Highly recommend!

I want to share with other people who are in pain how much Dr. Jensen helped me. When I started with him in April, I had been suffering extreme pain from sciatica in my right leg for four years. I also had constant pain in my lower back from scoliosis and sclerosis. I had had back surgery on L4 and L5, 3 epidural injections and a spinal block, but the pain persisted.

My quality of life was seriously curtailed. I couldn't walk without pain, especially on hard or uneven surfaces. Every night I was in agony by bedtime. Then my foot doctor suggested that I see Dr. Jensen.

It took 57 visits. I had adjustments 3 times a week. He gave me yoga exercises, which I did and still do faithfully. We finished up with 3 weeks of laser treatments. By the time we finished, most of the sciatica pain was gone. The lower back pain was much diminished. Best of all, I could walk for exercise, go shopping at the mall or supermarket without my previous pain, even go for easy hikes. My quality of life is vastly improved. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Jensen for helping so much with my pain and getting me back to a more active life.

I am confident that Dr. Jensen can help others with chronic pain. My pain is not gone, but, thanks to him, it is manageable.

I am not one to write reviews, but I recently had an experience with Steve Jensen that I'd like to talk about. Over the past 3 years, I've been to Steve for adjustments to help with general tightness. In the past 3 months, however, I've had a very painful hamstring injury that would not heal. After carefully reviewing my symptoms and history, Steve began a series of ART and Class IV Laser therapy treatments. The first 2 visits produced modest results, but the third resulted in a nearly full recovery. I'm now able to run and play tennis again, and am amazed at the speed and extent of my recovery. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone seeking help for a sports (or other) injury.
