“As for someone who dislikes the big gyms this is the perfect place to workout. I love that it's not crazy full and quiet. You can definitely do a full body workout, I'm actually amazed at all the machines they have here. It's perfect for strength/weight training. I wish I started coming here sooner!”

“After reading David McCullough's book on John Adams I developed a burning desire to see his home(s). I was already predisposed to admire him after watching the movie based on the musical 1776 that showcases John Adams' tenacity in promoting independence. HBO's miniseries John Adams was fascinating. The world would be a better place if people were more civic-minded and less self-centered and needy. How fortunate his homes were not razed ... like John Hancock's.”

“One of the few dog-friendly beaches in the Boston Proper radius, but instead of sand of the beaches mud and a billion seashells. Not Top Notch barefoot or dog fetch terrain, as both of us came back with cut-up feet. Ample parking, at least during covid-19 they away the pay station so it's free to park. Be prepared for off-leash dogs running up to you.”

“I wasn't visiting the park, I was walking across the narrow part of the bay at low tide --- the destination was Raccoon Island! This place is awesome! Accessible by foot during low tide only, it is totally worth it. Rocky, sandy and wooded. Great views, beautiful sunset. We even had a rainbow! ”

“What a wonderful place. The quarries were filled in years ago and has become a popular place for graffiti artists to offer Mother Nature their gifts. The graffiti really makes this place unique! The views from on top of the rocks are stunning. On a clear day you can see the Boston skyline.”

“Really nice trails and certainly a challenge for most day hikers. Make sure you follow the blue markings on the tree which mark the path. They are very clear for the most part. Plenty of other trails as well.”
