“This is a 2,000 acre forest of oaks, maples and pines filled with miles of well-marked, gently sloping trails. In mid February, we were fortunate to see dozens of trees being tapped for sap, a sugar shack with rows of firewood labeled by year (clearly done by someone with experience), a Pileated Woodpecker demonstrating the most elegant way to obtain insects, the big 50'Ø stone cistern dug into the ground and a great view of Gillette Stadium some 3 or 4 miles away. The only downside is a constant thrum of distant traffic from Rte 95 on the north and west sides of the property. Moose Hill is a beautiful place to walk and relax.”
