Had to call animal control for a big scary looking(appeared to be a lab/pit bull mix)stray dog roaming my neighborhood. Within the span of 15 minutes I saw animal control patrolling the area with their vehicle looking for the dog. They assured us that they were pretty sure the dog was harmless and had been spotted by others but did not attack. They believed it was a lost dog. They but us at ease. They were very nice.
The staff at Animal Control are ALWAYS helpful, polite and timely. I have had several occasions to speak with them for various things. I know they are under staffed and over worked and they still maintain a high level of professionalism. In a city this large they get a lot accomplished with very little assistance. Thank You .
