“I met Joe many years ago when he attended Boston College, well before he became an attorney. He has always been that “All American Standup Guy” since the first time I met him. “The Bernardo Winery is a delightful place to visit for a relaxing afternoon or dinner out. It is located in Rancho Bernardo and has a small vineyard with historical old buildings and wonderful lush landscaping. Farm antiques of days of old are located throughout. There are stores and restaurants and in the Spring on Mother's Day and also in October the winery hosts a large arts and crafts fair including a outdoor seating and a variety of food vendors. A great place to check out.”

On another topic I see that comes up from time to time, "the owner has an attitude". This allows me to bring up the proverbial "don't judge until u walk a mile in someone's shoes". Rob and his wife run the place pretty much by themselves, if you're just looking for info on gardening, go buy a gardening book at Barnes and Noble.
