Great dog walking place. Whiet and peaceful..at times. Clean beach !!
Clean, quiet sandy beach next to a playground and a grassy picnic area. There are restrooms, but they are locked about 5 PM. We did not have to pay for access. Parking is fairly close to the actual beach.
My favorite beach and park for my 2 year old! You need a sticker, if I remember correctly it is $30 for a non resident. Just go to the Kingston Town Hall. Totally worth it! Bathrooms were just renovated, park is great for my little guy. They have a play set for 2-5 and another for 5-12. My little guy plays on both and has a blast. There are 2 swing sets as well for each age range. It is completely fenced in with picnic tables and benches. Woodchips for the play surface and everything is in working order. The beach is a little rocky but I have enjoyed rockier beaches. It is a very wheelchair friendly beach. Low tide goes out pretty far and is fun to explore with my little guy. They have 2 basketball courts, a tennis court, and a large field too. Even movie nights some Friday nights in the summer with food and whatnot. All in all a great time everytime we go!
Beautiful little spot, lush green grass, playground, basketball courts, and a nice small (100 yards) sandy beach. Came at about 5:00 p.m. and it was almost empty. Fantastic views of surrounding Kingston and Plymouth bays.
Nice little beach with playground area for kids. Shady areas for sitting.
The beach was hit really bad 2 winters ago by a storm and they did a really nice job repairing and improving the area.
Also glad to see they fixed the sticker issue by allowing non residents as well as residents to purchase stickers and finally have someone working the gate.
