“Dr. Reines was on duty when I was admitted by ambulance to BID Plymouth & into his care. After preop workup it was decided I needed abdominal surgery & Dr. Reines would be operating shortly after seeing me. He informed my wife about surgery outcome, dx, and that I'd have to be admitted for few days. He informed her quite well answering all questions & listening to her satisfaction. For never having met this surgeon I was quite happy that I got to talk to him & ask my own questions before surgery. It calmed me somewhat considering this was an emergency. I was discharged to see him for postop 3 weeks after my 4 day stay. That is my review.*****”

What irks me is that the VA gets a bad reputation for its services and people when in reality most of the frustrations that veterans have is that they’re not prepared, didn’t do any research, or simply want everything done for them. I’m no professional, I’m a veteran myself that uses the services at this location and I gather all the information aforementioned from sitting and listening to the very loud and disrespectful people that come in yelling at the receptionists for no good reason.
